Oo 2.1 - WinXP Pro - Draw - Default Arrow styles ??
Hello all,
I have been looking on Help, Documentation Project, User-Faq project,
etc..., but could not find...
...How to set the default Arrow style to Width&Height 10 so that I don't
have to do that via Right Click - "Line..." - etc. every time I draw a
connector/line.

Yes, it does.
I did the test: From the tool bar at the bootom, from the 'connector' menu I did choose
a connector with arrows at both ends. Next, from 'lines and arrow' menu I did choose
a line, also with arrows at both ends. Then I selected both objects, apply my 'default'-style,
with arrows set to 10/10, ...voila ... style applied to both objects.

Well, in the top menu bar of your Office draw application there should be a menu 'tools'.
So you click on 'tools' and get a pulldown with the item 'options' at the end of that list, no ?
Problem is, that I can't compare our two OO versions to the last detail, since mine is knitted for
Linux and yours for Win XP, but very unlikely they vary the menu content for (same/similar) versions of
different platforms.
Also, you have version 2.1 and mine is 2.0 but it only means that you should be better off,
having updated already ; ))

I was talking about the solution proposed by the similar issue in your link. That's a non after-apply way, but actually the way I want it, but it doesn't work for connectors. (To be clear: that similar issue way just applies the style autom. without having to set it after drawing.)
Regarding tools>options:
I do know where it is, I meant only that it gives a dialog with like 101 settings. Where is the setting that you talk about in quote: "Rather I see that this is not implemented yet (or only partially in the tools -> options dialog) " ?

Yes, indeed, here too, selecting the non-arrow connectors works.
Unfortunatly I do need lines too sometimes (without arrows). For now, it's ok, I guess.
All the same, I hope I get some other answers (possibly also from other people).
If not, I'll Accept your last solution (but with grade C however since the original request seems not to be possible; hope you understand this is not saying I don't appreciate!!)..

Yeah, but still not 100%.

Oh, no, I know! I am not suggesting such a thing. I'm just saying that if I give an A or B grade, other people looking for this solution might think it is 100% solved. I just want to do the right thing with grades for a reference later, even though I would like to give you an A just for your efforts (and workarounds)!!

so complicated, . . . didn't I mention, I work with OO (star office before) for so many years
and 'workarounds' were a constant companion for that application to have it in a way

-On the similar issue you proposed, it would be a real 100% solution if I just used lines. Then you just have to choose line tool and draw it and it auto. gets style "Default" to it. Unfortunatly it doesn't work for connectors. Any way to make connectors behave like lines, in se auto. choosing a style (Default or otherwise) or vice versa, defining style that would get applied to áll objects incl. connectors ?
