Courier is a "True Type" font, and it's one of the fonts that comes default with Windows.
I think it's called cour.ttf in c:\windows\fonts.

Browse All TopicsI'm trying to identify what type of font this is. Its not listed in the c:\windows\fonts folder. I'm using word perfect 12 and this font keeps reverting itself as the default font and I would like to remove it if possible. I though it might be a post script font but I'm just not sure.

and this is how to edit the word perfect 12 default template so that you will open the default document with your own font

Some FON files are used by Windows' systems functions and must not be removed.
There are many apps for managing fonts in windows.
Also your correction to this matter would be to actually change the default template format for new documents that Word Perfect uses so that you may use whatever font you wish.
