Browse All TopicsHi Experts,
Pls kindly let me know if there's any other topic/category that is more appropriate for me to put this question to ?
Some quick questions here :-
(A) Windows Messenger Ver. 5.0
======================
(A.1) How do I find out someone's status (e.g. online/appeared offline/"real" offline) ? Any tool ? Any method ? Any black magic ?
(A.2) How do I determine if someone is hiding himself/herself with "appeared offline" ?
(A.3) How do I determine if someone is blocked me so that I cannot see him/her online ?
(B) MSN Messenger Ver. 6.2
=====================
(B.1) I know that there's a tool called TRIOPLE, that can check to see if someone is online or not, but this tool is not smart to differentiate between "appeared offline" v.s. "real offline" v.s. "blocking" ... So, Any tool/method/black magic that can actually determine that ?
(B.2) How do I determine if someone is hiding himself/herself with "appeared offline" ?
(B.3) How do I determine if someone is blocked me so that I cannot see him/her online ?
Thanks !!! :)

B.1 Use Msg Plus! (www.msgplus.net), you can have a window open with the events (if user is not using the computer, it'll appear as Idle - this is not fullproof, as it may be an application that makes the computer non-idle);
B.2. dunno. probably no way.
B.3. at www.mess.be there's a block checker, but currently offline. also there search for a Block Buster (not fullproof).
as for WM 5.0, you can connect it to the msn network?? version 5.0??
