'Unable to find "Adobe PDF" resource files'. Do you want to run the installer in repair mode?
I have run the installer many times but this does not fix the problem. A complete un-install and re-install will not fix the problem either.
I am running on Windows XP Pro (The error occurs on SP1 and SP2). The programme is installed to the second partition of the main drive (D:).
I have also noticed that the Adobe printer is not installing.

it's a bug in their software, the file name should be replaced with a real job option file but it is not, i think that is a hardcoded internal adobe joboption test file (and sometimes people just get garbage names)
anyway, just copy a good job option file and name it whatever adobe thinks it should be looking for, it is not a perfect fix, but neither is uninstalling / reinstalling every so often to resole it.

From the Adobe website:
First uninstall then reinstall Adobe Reader 7.0:
At the Destination Folder panel, click Change Destination Folder and select Program Files/Adobe/Acrobat 6.0. Click OK, then Next to continue the install.
I run into the this problem somewhat often. I actually had a print out hanging at my desk addressing this issue LOL.
