Yes, I have tried reinstalling.
No, I haven't tried Acrobat 8 because this is Acrobat Pro, not just the Reader

Browse All TopicsEvery day or so Acrobat will crash and give an error "Faulting application acrobat.exe, version 7.0.8.218, faulting module acrobat.dll, version 7.0.8.218, fault address 0x003933af." or 0x000f7fe7 or some other address. This error is so non specific. Acrobat will just crash and restart itself.
I'm using it alot with Go FileRoom and Internet Explorer. Could this have anything to do with the crash? It doesn't coincide with errors in the other application, though.

One of my users is seeing a similar message. I don't understand why the asker accepted the comment as the solution. Did the asker install Acrobat 7 Pro again and it fixed the problem? Did they upgrade to Acrobat Pro 8? When accepting a comment as the solution it would be helpful if the asker would post some explanation of how the comment solved the issue, IMHO.

I know this sounds like a really dumb question, but have you tried
a) reinstalling acrobat 7 or
b) upgrading to acrobat 8?
