Looking for some opinions on finding some free helpdesk software

I work in a medium sized company in the IT department and recently are group got split up and I am looking for some software that might help with this issue for communication. We are currently using PSI-IM but would like to get some ideas on some different software that might help with this. I am looking for more opensource software because are budget for software is nothing right now.Start Free Trial
