The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. Software for tracking cases/incidents

I am looking for software (preferably free) that can help in tracking history of incoming phone calls so the user can manually enter each incident info (who called, what product s/he needs support of, what problem s/he has) and in that way organize and see the history that each client had with the support department. If it also allows for optionally opening a new case to ease the forward to the tech guys, that will be a plus.

There are tons of software like that, but they are too generic and they do way too much stuff, thus are too complicated and/or expensive. Are there any titles that you used and you're happy enough with them to suggest them?

Can be for Windows Vista or web-based (PHP/MySQL). Supporting multiple users is optional but preferable. Allowing end-user to see status of his incident is optional too.
