Set the prperty of the form:
formName.ControlBox = false;
This will make all three buttons invisible at the runtime!

Firstware You cannot expect someone to help you without replying to the post. The answer I gave you works for sure, ask Microsoft if you like! It is possible that you are messing something up with other setting, that changes back the ControlBox to being visible. Also try deleting your compiled files from the debug folder of your project.
