cant connect to project server database

hi there

i had sql 2000 running on a server with project server 2003. that was all fine. we then removed sql 2000 and installed 2005 and now project server web access wont work. when i try to log in it says the database cannot be found. its in the same location as before and i have attached it in mgt studio and all looks ok. any ideas
