Browse All TopicsHi - I've installed a domain server with some users created in AD.
I've built a project server (Named as Project-Server) and joint that to that domain. DHCP is used here.
I've installed SQL 2000 with SP4 and SQL 2000 Analysis Services with SP4.
I've installed MS .NET framework 3.
I started installing Project server 2007 with complete and stand-alone server.
I have provisioned the project server in Default Website itself. (ie http://project-server/PWA)
Now, I can access Project server CA, Project Server and Project Server Web Access in the same server (ie in Project-Server)
But when I try accessing Project server Web Access from different machine say Vista. I am prompted for user name name and password. When I give that it is not allowing me inside.
I've installed SQL Server 2000 as well Project Server using Domain Administrator account.
I've logged in as Domain administrator in Vista as well. But no luck.
Whereas I can access Project Server Central Administration (CA) from Vista machine.
Any suggestions or solution to this problem will help me to fix this problem.
Thanks in advance.

Do you use the same URL to access the server from the workstation as you used on the server itself? If you are using different URLS, make sure that the appropriate "Alternate Access Mappings" are set up in SharePoint. (SharePoint looks at the host headers and will have problems with urls that aren't defined.)
If this is not the case, please provide the error message that you receive from the client machine.
