Browse All TopicsI have a computer with Primavera Contractor Standard 6 installed on it. I have a copy of Primavera Contractor Deluxe 5 that I want to install, but so far I haven't had any luck with both copies installed on the machine. I have SQL 2005 installed and running the database I need in order for version 6 to function. However, it seems that version 5 cannot connect to the 2005 database. I know that Contractor 5 comes with SQL 2000 in order to run so I'm wondering if it will work with an instance on 2005 that is set for 2000 compatability. I haven't had any luck in doing this, maybe someone can help shine some light.

Kindly post the error when you try to connect..
I am not aware of your Primavera contractor software on how it operates..
But can help you out with respect to SQL Server side configurations..
And also check how your Primavera contractor software 5 & 6 are accessing your SQL Servers either via DSN or ODBC or OLEDB..
