I can't uninstall Office 2000.  It says it completes but never leaves and I can still open it.  How do I fix this?

I go to Add/Remove Programs and hit remove but it only takes like 20 seconds and then it says it is uninstalled but it WON'T leave.  Any ideas how to fix this?Start Free Trial
