The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. How can I use command buttons and combo boxes is Excel?

I am an Access (VBA) programmer and need to add controls to an Excel spreadsheet.  I need several command buttons to fire macros and a combo box  to do a lookup in one column and show a second.  

I created command buttons from the forms toolbar and entered code to "Run MacroName" but it did nothing.  I created a Combo box from the forms toolbar.  I went to the format control and entered the two column range (TabName!$H$21:$I$23) and it only displayed the data in column H.  

The help is useless.  Is there a white paper out there or perhaps a good website?  Can I embed a user form on a spreadsheet directly? I'm sorry if I sound confused but I am.  I have only worked with the regular spreadsheets in Excel.  I am using Windows XP and Office 2003.  Start Free Trial
