Any way to stop a macro running.

Hi,

Any way to stop a macro running.
I have macro that get data from the machines directly.They take a long time.Some times if i need to stop the macro running i cannot .I only have to close the process.By which i loose data retrieved.
Any macro that can check if ESC is clicked and stop the macro.
