The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. Copying Field Data from Word to Excel

Using Office 2003 a co-worker of mine made a checklist for going setting up computers for our sales force.  This checklists have data at the top in fields that include First Name, Last Name, New Computer Name, New Computer Service Tag #, Old Computer Name, and the Old computer Service Tag # amoung other things.  These are the fields I'm interested in though.  What I want to do is pull the data from the fields and put them in an Excel Spreadsheet for easier data comparison and for inventory reasons.  Each sales person has a seperate word files for their information.
I've looked over the internet and found some solutions that are close, but not quite what I'm looking for as they don't incoorporate fields, just referring to moving text or tables.  Does anyone have any idea how to do this.  I'll do pretty much anything (even if it means moving this stuff into Access or something crazy like that).  I'm more or less looking for something a bit simpler than copy paste through 90+ documents of junk.

I've attached what is at the top of each checklist.
