Calculate data if one field in formula is not empty

I want to redo the following formula, if possible:

=SUM(B6:B50)-B11-B16

To be: for B6:B50 Sum the total, IF the column D, on the same row is NOT empty.

In this spreadsheet Column B is filled, sequentially, but columns D and E are not.

In the example, B6 through B50 has a number, but D11 and D16 are empty, so the calculation should ignore B11 and B16Start Free Trial
