The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. Problem using VLOOKUP in EXCEL

Hi,
I am having some problem using the VLOOKUP function. Could someone help me out. I have a lookup table having five(5) columns. In the main spreadsheet I have to compare one column from the lookup table. If match found, return two columns out of those 5 columns.
e.g. In the main spreadsheet I have following values in a column which has records associated with it.
20023
20053
20063
20073

Lookup table has following details.
col1              Col2              Col3
20080530      2125398      20023
20080530      2125398      20053
20080530      2123981      
20080530      2154391      20073

If there is match with any of the values col3, then return col3 and associated column2.
These two values will be entered in two new columns that will be created manually in main spreadsheet.
e.g final spreadsheet would look like below. "0" for unmatched rows.
2125398      20023      20023
0      0      
2125398      20053      20053
0      0      20063
0      0      
2154391      20073      20073
