The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

I need to find the value in a column if criteria is matched in 2 other colums

Sorry for the long question but I want to be as clear as possible to explain my effort and problem.

I have a workbook that I am trying to create charts but the data spans multiple rows.

This sheet starts monthly with an output from a db which contains different values of data in 11 columns for each product, family item and month over the past 2 years.
The sheet that has columns for date (200801, 200802, 200803 etc) and a column with product names (Lakes, sorrento, elan etc) and family item (like XCRU, FCRU, Corotron etc.)

I have a portion of the sheet where I am trying to set up a horizontal summary by product (in a Validation list pulldown) to use as the source data for my charts.
My summary starts in Colunm AD
I have a pulldown with different products in Cell AD2 Report dates across AF2-BC2 and has Metrics in AE2-18

I need to look for a value in column M where the the Date = Heading row AF2, and the product = value in AD2. The value in M is unique but may be repeated and I only need to lookup and display 1 instance for the summary section.

I have attached a small portion of the data in a file for reference and would appreciate any help with the referenced cells in yellow AR18
