Normally, when working in Excel I can get to the macros stored in personal.xls and access the workbook by unhiding it. When I use an external program (in our case Opics), which generates a report and opens Excel, the macros are not available and Window/Unhide is grayed out. We found a workaround which is opening Excel prior to generating the report, the macros and the personal.xls workbook are there, but we prefer to not first open Excel.
