If you just have the two possibilities, you could use an array constant:
=SUMPRODUCT((Inventory!$A$
One benefit of the array constant is the ability to ignore a value in column E like "203N"

Browse All TopicsI am stumped on this one, hoping someone can help...
I have different product codes available in column E. For Example :
10S
10N
20S
20N
20SH
20NH
I want the sumproduct to check column E for anything that begins with "20"
=SUMPRODUCT((Inventory!$A$
I have tried defining a name that pointed to all options that started with 20 but that didn't work.
How do I get sumproduct to do this?
I know I can do it like this but its ugly code... there has to be a better way then this
=SUMPRODUCT((Inventory!$A$
ETC..ETC..

=SUMPRODUCT((Inventory!$A$ 2:$A$49980 ="DISPLAY" )*(Invento ry!$G$2:$G $49980="CA L")*(LEFT( Inventory! $E$2:$E$49 980,2)="20 "))
should do it.
