ME ENABLER.RPLN plugin missing

When opening an InDesign file in InDesign CS2, I get the prompt "ME ENABLER.RPLN plugin missing".  When I go to Manage Plugins, ME ENABLER is not listed.  I think that when I try to edit the document and the prograam crashes, that this missing plugin may be at fault.  Where can I find ME ENABLER.RPLN plugin?

This sounds like a third party plugin activation module. Do you have any third party plugins installed. Perhaps a plugin from Meadows Publishing. If so, try reinstalling the plugin.

I have done a little more research and discovered that the ME ENABLER was part of a Middle East version of InDesign CS. Even though the document may not contain any middle eastern elements, the fact that it was available when the document was created is contained withing that document. In order to get rid of it, you must open the document, ignoring the error, export the document as InDesign Interchange, close the original and open the exported .inx file. This process will strip any reference to unused plugins.
