Well, first off, what you are asking sounds suspiciously like it might border on being illegal, so you might want to be careful about making it clear that what you are doing is on the up and up. Second, if its really that improtant, you should purchase Indesign because for a legitimate operation, its not really that expensive. Good luck.

I think you mean that you need to EXTRACT text from the files if you don't have the software. Have you tried BBEDIT?
