Indesign VERY slow with opening files

Hi,

All of a sudden 3 weeks ago all computers in our network with indesign (2.0 and CS2) installed started with opening the indesign files very slowly. It can take a few minutes to open a 8mb file. I watched  both the system recources and the network use while waiting but both are showing no signs of usage. Anybody knows what this can be ? Adobe Photoshop is also slow in opening its files. Saving and editing goes fine it is just the opening part.

To counter the problem we bought new computers (quad core) upgraded our network to gigabit but that didn't help.

Hope someone can help cause this is very tiresome. Thanks in advance !Start Free Trial
