Question

I need download Adobe Flash Player 9 (AFP9)

Asked by: Pepucho

When I bought my laptop, HP dv6265us, had Adobe Flash Player but now is not working. When I download this program, don't works, this probably happened  because sometime I changed something trying to make work my webcam, which is working now, I need working both at the same time.

Hi

I guess you need to uninstall it first fully as you may have done somthing to the installation.

have a look at :
http://www.adobe.com/go/tn_12727

Then download the latest version and install. make sure you use an administrator account to do both.

My OS is Windows Vista, The driver must be the included when I bought the laptop HP, Pavilion dv6265us model

by: captainreissPosted on 2008-10-11 at 10:59:27ID: 22694782

hm...the latest driver is this one:
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softwareDownloadIndex?softwareitem=ob-47244-1&lc=en&dlc=en&cc=us&lang=en&os=2093&product=3340180

However it does not seem to be a recent addition, worth installing though.

Cannot say there is an obvious solution that I can think of. I will research a bit more and let  you know if I find something.

I tried to download with the recommended web page, and the result was that I have already the driver for my webcam in Windows Vista.

by: captainreissPosted on 2008-10-11 at 19:51:18ID: 22696059

That's what I suspected given the age of the driver but it was worth trying to eliminate a driver issue

I will be back when I find something

cheers
