Ugh, EE doesn't like me putting a psd in an archive. I will change the extension to .txt but it's a .psd
Main Topics
Browse All TopicsI have a 1 page InDesign CS3 document. I am trying to place a PSD with a transparent background into the document. When I look at it in InDesign there is no stroke (border), however when I print the image it is showing a hairline border around the image right where the bounding box would be. The stroke is set to 0
I have tried placing the image as a PSD and PDF with no success.
I tried creating a 1, 2, and 5 pix stroke with the same color as the background I am placing it on and I still get the black hairline border around the image.
I would appreciate any help anyone can provide.
I have attached the PSD I am trying to place in the InDesign document.

I tried cropping the PSD like you said but it didn't seem to help. It's almost like the bounding boxes are printing from within InDesign.
Also I may be wrong about this but if my placed image which has a transparent background on it is sitting on top of something else as long as it is only the background there it shouldn't cover anything up? When I place this document it actually covers stuff up if I have it on the wrong layer.
well the PSD works fine with me, no border while printing.
im attaching an indesign file with the embedded psd logo
can you try printing it with your printer, and post back if the same issue?
one more thing, right click on the logo file in InDesign, Arrange>Bring to front
this should place it on the top of other objects.

i cannot see any attached file here :)
but apparently the problem seems to be within the PSD file, try cropping it 1px from all around.
