Asked by duhziner in Adobe InDesign Publishing Software, Quark XPress Publishing Software, Microsoft Applications
I've got a freelance project for the next few weeks, but I have a problem. I need to take a Quark8 file created on Windows, and convert it to an InDesign file on a Mac. I've done some research over the last few hours, and the 'standard' tool for converting Quark to InDesign is "Markztools Q2ID" The project is big enough to justify the $200 purchase price of the software but only if it successfully converts the file! Anyone have experience with this problem, if so, does the Markztools plug in actually work as advertised? I've heard from my mac-based friends that it works great on mac quark to mac indesign, but my concern is windows quark to mac indesign. (Sorry to repeat the question, but I want my concerns to be as clear as possible...)
Thanks!
