I'm sorry that I left this question open as long as I did. My user informed me that it was a setting in the program itself - something to do with the text tool.

Why are letters dropping when printing from Chief Architect X2?
I have a user who recently started using Chief Architect X2, switching from version X1. When he prints from X2, all text is dropping the last letter/digit of the text line. This happens when he sends it to an actual printer or to a PDF writer.
He is using Windows XP SP2
Memory: 2GB
Video Card: Radeon X1650 Series with 512MB memroy and an ATI display adapter (0x71cd) chipset

Could it be something as simple as A4 vs Letter paper size? A4 is 6mm (1/4") narrower than Letter, just enough to make 1 character disappear.
I don't know Chief Architect at all, so I don't know what you can adjust in the package, but check under things like Page Setup or Print Setup to see if you can specify paper size.
