AutoCad Land Desktop 2005 and Windows 7

Installed AutoCad 2005 Land Desktop on windows 7.
I am able to run Cad but LDD functions fail to load.
Tried running in compatibility Windows Xp with run as administrator also selected.

Try the following:
Uninstall previous installation attempts if there are any
Disable UAC:
http://www.mydigitallife.info/2008/12/30/how-to-disable-and-turn-off-uac-in-windows-7/

Then insert your LDD CD but do not let it autorun.
Open the CD directory and look for "setup.exe" and right click on it, choose "run as administrator"
Create a folder C:\Programs
During the install, choose C:\Programs\Land Desktop 3 as your installation directory

No experiance with this version of LDT and Win 7 combination but in general, the further apart you are with the generation of software(AutoCAD=old) and your operating system (windows = new) the more issues you are going to have. I'd recommend upgraning your autocad before using an OS that's fresh on the street.
