I have an employee who has been using the same computer for the past two years - it's not an ancient laptop, and it can handle the program just fine - but just two days ago when he prints to PDF from our 20 20 Technologies CAD program, the PDF's he prints are faint. When he prints to a printer it comes out fine, but the PDF appears on screen and prints out very faded, so you can barely see the design. A guy from their software team (they're never very helpful) said it was his computer chip. Why would it all the sudden turn defective?
