PDF Files are getting cropped when they are printed on a wide format plotter

Hello Everyone. This is my first post... and I'm hoping it goes well.

I have a number of users sharing a Ricoh 470W Wide Format Plotter. The plotter is connected to a dedicated workstation, and the Printer is shared. These users frequently receive blueprints and other drawings in PDF format.

They bought the Wide format printer specifically to print these massive 32" x * files for hand markups.

All of the users are on Windows XP Professional Workstations in a Server 2003 Domain Environment.

Some users have been able to print with no trouble whatsoever. Other users try to print and find that the lower right 3rd of the image gets cropped. This only happens with PDF files... (when I convert them to TIFFs or DWG's they seem to print fine - and that's been a good temporary work-around).

I've spent days combing though the printer settings on the troubled workstations. I've gone though them page by page to ensure that they match the settings of workstations. I updated all the print drivers. I enabled the "print as image" setting adobe... but  I keep hitting dead end after dead end, and its driving me nuts.

It seems fair to assume the issue is with the PDF... but I haven't been able to find a common thread between the working computers and the troubled ones. Any suggestions or clues to help me along would be greatly appreciated!  Thank you in advance!Start Free Trial
