New System for ACAD09?

Hi I am wanting a new desktop to run AutoCad2009.  I am willing to spend $1500 AUD on the box alone.
Can someone please make some recommendations on the most decent system for that money to run Autocad2009.  I currently have a P4 3.0Ghz/2GB RAM and it does not run Acad09 very well.  

I have read some articles that Quad Core is the way to go and that some Graphics cards dont work very well with Cad09.  Hopefully there is someone out there using 09 with a really great system.
