Can't register free version of eDrawings

Haven't been able to register the free version of eDrawings and recieve a message "unable to register at this time".  This is not the profesional version's 15-day trial; this is just the viewer. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Does anyone have ideas about why this is occurring.  Checked the eDrawings community, FAQs and have not found anything related.

How do we remove this question?  Not that it isn't valid or needed.  It is just time to move on to the next issue for us here.

I just downloaded it and installed.  I chose viewer only.  At registry key (leave blank) and click enter.  Do NOT hit register now.  I clicked the button to the left of [Register Now].  Saved the file to my system and then ran the install.  Opened .dwg file as a test - no problem.  BTW - you don't have to fill in all the information.

While I appreciate your time and effort, this is not a solution. You have achieved our current situation where everytime a shop worker opens the viewer, they are confronted with the "REGISTER" windows and options. That issue still exists when I followed your guidance and reopened the program.

We would like to register this product and not have workers in the shop call us everytime it poses the registration option. We still got the same error message that we were "unable to register at this time".  

Perhaps, there is no way to register this program since SolidWorks is not accepting it, but SolidWorks has not chosen to remove this register window from the free viewer (i.e, if we pay for the   Pro version...we could register it and not have the register screen any longer.

I only tried it quickly this morning on my home computer.  I will try it again when I get home.  Some free softwares do this - ask if you want to register everytime you use it to increase sales.

I really wasn't looking for points - it seemed it might be useful to me as well.

Thanks, I appreciate your time and effort.  With so many IT projects in full motion, it is difficult to spend time troubleshooting something like this. Your post inspired me to try a fresh download and I think we got a newer version as a result.
