Opening multiple files in Corel Draw

Customer is running Corel Draw 12 and most things works ok. If she has opened a file in Corel and double-click on another CDR-file, nothing happens.  Going via File/Open works fine. I've checked the file associations, and they seems correct. Double-clicking on a CDR-file without having anything open - or even if Corel isn't started works as expected. Any ideas. Customer says that this has worked in the past. OS is WinXP Pro
