How to remove one or more pages from a multi-page tiff document using Image::Magick(i.e. convert)?

Having a multipage tiff document:
"start.tif" with 4 pages:  1,2,3,4...
How to use Image::Magick(convert)  so that the resulting document has only a subset of the original pages:  
"end.tif" with 2 pages: 1,4
