The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

adobe to dreamweaver frames coplexity

hi friends
i made my page design in adobe photpshop 7.
added some effects to the links in imageready.
then i had to add menubar and frames for which i had to use dreamweaver.
so i made a new page in dreamweaver and added  3 frames.
top frame used fro header.
left frame used for links.
and text frame used for text.

unlike other sites where the background of pages  ismostly white or some color my background is an image
so i have to divide my page in frames such that they still give appearance of one page.
one approach i used was that i sliced my page in imageready into
1. header portion
2. links portion
3 text portion

and in dreamweaver  inserted the images from the images folder which adobe photoshop makes into coresponding frames
this gives me aligning problem ,its really dificult to adjust broken pictres into one.also then what abt the links functionality
such as rollover states,i cant used them ,cause technically iam usin the image not page for which java script has been
made by imageready.
so what i feel is that somehow shd b able to insert webpage into frames.this again is a problem

cause to make menu bar for links in dreamweaver i need to have sliced images of links as gifs.

can sum one guide me how i can make it easy in dreamweaver to add frames with my html page which is an image
not backgroundcolor.

iam missin sum basic way to do it cause this is realy a strange problem.

many thanks for ur help
sgf
