Photoshop tutorial for paint splash effect

Does anyone know where I can find a good tutorial for making a paint splash background in Photoshop?

I found this background image here: http://themes.wordpress.net/snapshots/1592-big.jpg

And I would like to try to make something like that but with many different colors...

Honestly, if you ignore the color and just look at the image, it just looks like several different images of different opacity layered over top one another. In fact, some of it looks like scribbling more than anything special (in terms of effects or filters)

Well they weren't exactly what I was looking for but it did get me headed in the right direction because I found some Photoshop brushes that had the effect I was looking for. They were splatter brushes if anyone is looking for the same thing. A search on Google should find them...

Thanks, yes it can be a tad difficult to get the exact name of the style.
Headed in the right direction is what I had hoped to achieve.

Keep in mind that just like there are different names for styles/effects/whatever, there are usually just as many (or more) different ways of accomplishing different things in Photoshop. Its got a LOT of redundancy built into it. (Not that that is a bad thing...)
