Fonts and Photoshop CS3?

Asked by awinstead in Adobe Photoshop

Hey everyone,
I am running into what maybe an old problem. I am working on a Corporate Logo and trying to go through the insane number of fonts I have to find a couple that might work. The font's are not installed but in a folder. I am using Windows XP and CS3. I am using a program called Fontlister that lets me look at the font before I decide which ones I would like to use. The problem I am having is It appears if I have around 250 fonts installed CS3 just locks up. This is making the process very slow becuase Windows Has some fonts that you can't remove and there for I have only a small hand full of fonts that I can swap out. Anyone have a decent solution to this?

Thanks,
