You can also try and double-click the colour well on the toolbar.
When the dialog box opens you can then click anywhere on the palette or in the swatches to change the selected colour.

Im looking for the color picker ?!?
for some reason when i open up photoshop cs3 and click on a color (i.e foreground or background ) i dont get the color picker anymore (i.e im unable to enter hex codes for colors) i only get the color palette with no option to enter any codes just solid colors to pick from
anyone know why this as happened and how i can go about fixing it?
