Perhaps Adobe customer support? Just and idea. I get very uneven results when I use Adobe customer support. Sometimes all they can do is read me the same bulletins that I have already read. Other times I hit paydirt and find someone who either really knows what they are talking about or will keep digging until they find out.
Worth a try. Even if you don't have any service plan, there should not be a charge for your call.

If that's what you've read already then unfortunately you can really only repair/reinstall. If you've already tried their patch for licensing, then that is pretty much it.
