What are the steps to do the Batch in Bridge. When I open Bridge I double click the image to open it in Camera RAW and it opens PhotoShop in the back ground as Camera RAW is a PhotoShop Plug in.

I have to take a image from the photographic batch in .NEF and color correct it Camera RAW then save it so I can come back later and do PhotoShop retouching. From that image I need to save a PhotoShop 'Action' so I can apply it to all the other images in the batch by a droplet.
Problem:
1. I run the 'Action' and create the droplet but the Camera RAW corrections are not being saved and applied only the open and save command.
2. After the Camera Raw is it best to go to 'Save As' or 'Open Image' to save with Camera RAW.
3. What format is best to save in from .NEF for further PhotoShop retouching prior to final save in JPEG. DNG, PSD or JPEG - also I am doing the finial retouching in 16 BIT before final save to 8BIT JPEG.

You can batch process your raw images in Bridge. You can then apply the same development steps to all, and then tweak individually.
For saving prior to the final save, use PSD. That will save the most information with the image.
DO NOT USE JPEG for intermediary saves. That will not only not save your layers and other important information, but it will also compress the image. You will lose quality every time you re-save as JPG.
