Optimization settings to convert Illustrator file to JPG format

I converted an Adobe Illustrator file with a lavendar background into JPG format. When I view the JPG on some computers, the background looks beige instead of lavendar. What optimization settings should I be using to prevent the shift in color?

this is weird, for me too the background is beige.
are you working in CMYK or RGB document mode?
is the beige color present when you see the image in Save for web preview?

I'm working in RGB mode. When I see the image in Save for web preview, the color is lavendar.

ummmm...try giving a different variant of lavendar or if possible another color and check if same issue?
may be this is happenng only with this particular variant of color......

just save it in psd formate first and then in jpe formate give maxim compactablety then u will get a good result of ur image
