Why aren't my gridlines in line with my ruler lines?

When I set both the ruler and grid lines to 1 pixel thick they do not match up.  The ruler is showing the correct size of one pixel but the grid refuses to line up with the ruler?

I've attached a picture to show what is going on.

There is a setting in the preferences for how much space you want between grid lines.

I have set mine as shown in the attached picture.

I believe that is the correct setting, and they still do not match.  Is the setting incorrect?

Make sure you are using pixels for both UNITS and GRID. The you won't have a problem.

If you right-click on the measurement in the workspace, is it set to pixels?

i noticed that if it was set to points, it would look the same as pixels

ah, i set mine to points in the workspace and had the exact situation you have.   I think that's it.

OK, so this is bizarre.

I had to go into Prefs and change both the grid a rulers to anything OTHER than pixels, set them, exit out and then change BACK to pixels for the grid and ruler to line up properly.  A bug in software perhaps?
