slice photoshop image to tableless layout

Hello experts
I used photoshop 7 (old product !)
When I make a web design, Photoshop creates table layout, which is not really W3C compilant

Does new photoshop pr fireworks  (or another product) allows to make a tabless layout ? Like DIV SPAN and CSS ?

In Fireworks...Slice your bitmap graphics and put your text in a box (can be borderless and colorless).
Click on Export and select  CSS and Images (html)

You will get a CSS html file. The text will be editable as well.
