work around did the trick. Used Ifranview to batch-rename images
Main Topics
Browse All TopicsI'm attempting to burn a disk of images. I sorted them ( using MS XP)according to the Date Picture Taken and then loaded the images into Nero to burn. Nero Express then resorted them according to the date they were last modified rather than the way I had them sorted
Can anyone tell me how to resolve this problem to enable me to burn the pictures according to my sort criteria of Date Picture Taken

changing the default sort order is not possible in the CDFS file system - it always sorts by the filename.

a possible work around is renaming the filenames.
try "flash renamer"

load your files to FR and then rename them according to the new sort order.
you can also do this by hand (but this will be painstaking..
