Dear Experts,
I am developing a web community in PHP and I wanted to ask you a few informative questions.
1) I am using a php resizing script that creates thumbnails and resizes the images into logic dimensions when someone uploads a big image, however I need something more than that.
I need a script/software that will have more capabilities like cropping any image, rotating it etc...all these in a friendly graphical user interface (my best guess is that this would be a javascript or flash based one ) and of course the neseccary resizing attribute. I dont care if it is not a freewre software (of course if it is free it is better), but I dont mind buying something that worths its money and will make my life easier.
Oh, an importand asset of this software would be to be easily intergraded into my code..If anyone has used something like this and can reccomend a nice solution I would appreciate it.
2) I also want to make a multimedia section on the website. That means the user will be able to upload videos and mp3s. I am looking for a way to convert some video file formats in to flv and display them on the page like so many websites do these days. Again, a reccomendation on that would be highly appreciated. Easily intergaded scripts/software are the goal once again here. Again I dont mind if the soluton is not freeware.
