I currently use QuickTime PictureViewer to open pictures with.  It's rather lightweight and opens images in a window the size of the image (as opposed to programs like Irfanview or Photoshop that open images within a full-size window).  PictureViewer is starting to annoy me, though, and I'm trying to find a better program to use.  Is there anything out there that opens pictures in windows that are only the size of the picture itself?Start Free Trial
