Browse All TopicsI am changing some buttons on my website. The graphic designer used Adobe Fireworks to design the layout of my site as well as my buttons. He sent me the PNG file of one of my buttons. The .png file is 50-55k in size. The designer converted or saved the buttons as gif images and their size is very small, less than 1k. When I modify the .png file and save it as a .gif image, the size is 20 times larger than the .gif images the designer created (14k vs .7k). Why can't I create a .gif image that small, when my designer can, using the same software?
I am attaching an example of the a a PNG file and a large and a small gif as an example.
Thanks in advance!
Thanks!
