Cannot connect to web service once site is in IIS

I have a flash file that calls a web service - I am just sending info to the web service, not getting anything back...
When I run it of my hard drive (C://filename.html) it works perfectly fine.
When I run it off my local machine using IIS, it does not work.
I have spent hours trying to figure this out. I have no idea as to why it would work off my hard drive and not when I run my local host using IIS..
