Browse All TopicsI am still trying to understand E4X in AS3 and need some pro. help.
Basically, I have an XML file that has a single entry for every day of the year (365, or it could be 12 XML files, one for each month with X-days for each month) and the attributes of those entries are a title, URL, image, description, and the date.
What I am doing is pulling in the XML, and then I need to use AS3 to check today's date, and find the matching XML entry and then I want to parse that single entry into a text box for the title, a text box for the description, a MC for the image, and then overlay an MC for the URL.
Its harder to get used to AS3 since I have been away from Flash for a while.
