Actionscript 3 Button Label

I have this AS 3 movie I've created. I used the Components pane to drag/drop a button onto the stage. The movie compiles fine with the button for now. When I use the Component Inspector to change the Label of the button to something other than "Label", the movie wont compile and gives the following error:

TypeError: Error #1009: Cannot access a property or method of a null object reference.
      at AlarmClock_Flash_v2/__setProp_cancelAlarmButton_AlarmSettings_Layer7_0()
      at AlarmClock_Flash_v2/frame1()

If I change the button's label back to the default "Label", it will compile fine again. Here are a list of the API's I'm importing for my movie:

What's the problem here?
